Bookmarks

Small format is the common theme across all of my creative endeavours. I like to be able to finish in one sitting; even a two-day project can feel insurmountable. How do I know I will have any time beyond right now? This leads me to small projects across different types of media: greeting/birthday cards, nail art, and bookmarks.

Matching the vibe of what I think a book will be about to the bookmark I choose to use is a fun exercise that gets me excited for the book ahead. Sometimes I just pick the bookmark I am most proud of so I get to look at it a bunch!
